Terms of use
Last updated: 2026-08-07
The conditions for using Trovyn. You accept them when you create an account, so they should be readable in one sitting.
Trovyn is in beta
The platform is under active development. There may be bugs, features that change or disappear, and service interruptions. We do what is reasonable to avoid data loss, but during the beta we cannot guarantee availability or permanent retention. If your data matters to you, download it from Settings now and then.
Your account
You must be at least 14. You are responsible for what happens with your account and for keeping your password safe; you can enable two-step verification in Settings. An account belongs to one person: do not share it.
What you post remains yours
Your reviews, lists, posts and messages are yours. By posting them you give us permission to store and display them within Trovyn, which is the minimum needed for the feature to exist: a review that cannot be displayed is not a review. That permission is non-exclusive, does not include selling or transferring them, and ends when you delete the content or your account.
What you cannot do
- • Harass, threaten or incite hatred against other people.
- • Post illegal content, or sexual material involving minors.
- • Impersonate someone else or pretend to be part of the team.
- • Send spam, unsolicited advertising or scams.
- • Try to break the platform’s security, bypass usage limits or extract data in bulk automatically.
Moderation and suspension
If you breach the above we may remove content, limit features, temporarily suspend the account or close it. We aim for the measure to be proportionate to what happened, and sanctions are recorded. You can appeal by writing to the contact address: a wrong moderation call is a mistake we would rather fix.
Catalogue data comes from third parties
Entries for movies, TV, anime, books and games (titles, synopses, covers, dates) come from external sources. We do not guarantee they are accurate or complete, and their rights belong to their respective owners. Trovyn does not host or distribute the works: it is a tool to keep track of what you consume.
Liability
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the platform. None of this limits the rights you have as a consumer.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you retain the right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
